    Day-by-day itinerary

    1. Day 1

      Drive from Pokhara to Kande and Trek to Australian Camp (2060m)

      Duration: 45 minutes drive and 2 hours walk. The journey begins with a short and scenic drive from Pokhara to Kande, offering glimpses of the Annapurna mountain range along the way. Once at Kande, the trek starts with a moderate ascent through lush forests and terraced fields. The trail is surrounded by natural beauty, with occasional sightings of local villages and wildlife. After approximately two hours of trekking, you will arrive at Australian Camp, a picturesque hilltop destination. Australian Camp offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, as well as the Machapuchare (Fishtail) peak. You can spend the evening soaking in the serene environment and enjoying the spectacular sunset. Overnight at a teahouse in Australian Camp.

    2. Day 2

      Australian Camp to Phedi via Dhampus (1650m) and Drive Back to Pokhara

      Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas from Australian Camp. After breakfast, the trek continues with a descent towards Dhampus, a charming village inhabited by the Gurung community. The trail passes through rhododendron forests, stone-paved paths, and traditional houses, offering insights into the local culture and lifestyle. From Dhampus, the trek descends further to Phedi, where the trek concludes. A short drive from Phedi brings you back to Pokhara, where you can relax and reflect on your short yet memorable adventure. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
