    Day-by-day itinerary

    1. Day 1

      Drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk (1,940m) and Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m)

      Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk, a picturesque village known for its stunning views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges. The drive takes around two hours and offers glimpses of Nepal’s countryside with terraced fields and quaint villages. Upon reaching Ghandruk, you’ll start your trek towards Chhomrong. The trail gradually ascends and passes through rhododendron forests and terraced farmlands. As you approach Chhomrong, you’ll be welcomed by breathtaking views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. Chhomrong is a charming village with traditional stone houses and friendly locals, offering a comfortable stop for the night.

    2. Day 2

      Trek from Chhomrong to Bamboo (2,310m)

      After a hearty breakfast, the trek begins with a steep descent down stone steps to the Chhomrong Khola. Crossing the suspension bridge, the trail ascends through lush bamboo forests and serene landscapes. The path alternates between steep climbs and relatively flat sections, offering a mix of challenge and respite. The vibrant green of the forest is complemented by the occasional sound of flowing streams. By afternoon, you’ll reach Bamboo, a small settlement surrounded by dense forest, where you’ll spend the night in a tranquil setting.

    3. Day 3

      Trek from Bamboo to Deurali (3,230m)

      The journey continues through the forested trail as you ascend towards Deurali. The route offers a diverse mix of bamboo groves, oak trees, and cascading waterfalls. The air becomes cooler and fresher as you gain altitude, and the landscape gradually transitions to more rugged terrain. Along the way, you’ll pass through Dobhan, a small resting point, before continuing uphill. As you approach Deurali, the vegetation thins, and the snow-capped peaks start to dominate the horizon. Deurali’s peaceful ambiance and panoramic mountain views make it a perfect place to rest for the night.

    4. Day 4

      Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m)

      Today is one of the most anticipated days of the trek. The trail ascends steadily, leading you through alpine meadows and alongside the Modi Khola. After a couple of hours, you’ll reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp, offering spectacular views of the majestic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). After a brief rest, the trail continues to Annapurna Base Camp, where you’ll be surrounded by towering peaks, including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Machhapuchhre. The sense of achievement upon reaching the base camp is unmatched, and the breathtaking panoramic views make every step worthwhile. Spend the night at this high-altitude haven, soaking in the serene beauty of the Himalayas.

    5. Day 5

      Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa (2,360m)

      After enjoying a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna range, you’ll begin your descent. Retracing your steps, the trail passes Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Deurali before heading further down. The journey back offers a new perspective on the landscape as you descend through the lush vegetation and lively forested trails. After a long but rewarding day, you’ll arrive at Sinuwa, a peaceful village surrounded by lush greenery, where you’ll spend the night.

    6. Day 6

      Trek from Sinuwa to Jhinu Danda (Hot Spring) and Drive to Pokhara

      On the final day of the trek, you’ll descend to the village of Jhinu Danda, renowned for its natural hot springs. The trail involves some steep descents and crossings over suspension bridges, with stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Upon reaching Jhinu Danda, take some time to relax and rejuvenate in the warm, mineral-rich waters of the hot springs, a perfect way to soothe your muscles after days of trekking. Afterward, you’ll take a short drive back to Pokhara, where you can celebrate the completion of your incredible journey.
