Starting early from Pokhara, a drive to Sidhing village sets the stage for this adventure. The first day involves a scenic trek through lush rhododendron forests and picturesque hill trails, passing Forest Camp and Low Camp, before reaching High Camp (3,580m) by late afternoon. The views from High Camp are breathtaking, with iconic Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South dominating the horizon. After soaking in the sunset views, trekkers settle into a cozy teahouse for the night.

The second day begins with an early start to conquer the trail to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m). The route, though steep and challenging, is immensely rewarding, offering panoramic vistas of towering snow-capped peaks, the Annapurna range, and the pristine Mardi Himal itself. After spending some time relishing the spectacular scenery, trekkers descend to High Camp for a quick rest and lunch before continuing downhill to Badal Danda (3,210m) for the night.

The final day of the trek involves a gentle descent through verdant forests and traditional Gurung villages to Sidhing village, where trekkers experience the warm hospitality and culture of the locals. After lunch in Sidhing, a jeep ride takes you back to Pokhara, completing this memorable Himalayan journey by late afternoon.

The Mardi Himal Trek is accessible year-round, but the best seasons are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when clear skies and blooming rhododendrons enhance the experience. This condensed trek is a perfect mix of adventure, stunning landscapes, and cultural immersion. Though it requires good physical fitness and long trekking hours, the rewards are unparalleled, making it a top choice for time-strapped adventurers seeking a taste of Nepal’s majestic mountains.
